A former Olympic-class swimmer at the University of Florida, Dr. Glassman received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida. He served an Internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and matriculated his ophthalmology residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit. He then was one of a select few in the nation to complete a two-year fellowship in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City, widely considered to be one of the top institutions in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. A dedicated international medical volunteer and former Peace Corps physician, Dr. Glassman is board-certified and a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
