Dr. Rockower completed her residency training at Braverman Eye Center specialists in cataract and refractive surgery, retinal disease, neuro-ophthalmology, and glaucoma surgery and management. After completing her residency in 2009, she went on to practice medical eye care in surgical clinics, ophthalmology practices, and private practices as a freelance medical Optometrist specializing in pre and post-op care, emergency eye care, and ocular disease management.
Sherri Ann Rockower OD MSci graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Biology. She then went on to receive a Master’s in Biomedicine at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Rockower utilized her Master’s degree to teach science didactics at Lynn University, Keiser University, and Broward College here in South Florida. She enjoyed teaching courses such as biochemistry, physics, and microbiology. Dr. Rockower then went onto Optometry School at Nova Southeastern University and graduated in 2008.
Dr. Rockower loves being with her four-legged son, Nugget, and his neighborhood furry buddies. She loves reading, trying new restaurants with friends, and spending time committed to charity work and volunteering.
